Today afternoon we found a stray dog lying under a tree in our small garden at the front of the house. It looked tired, thirsty & hungry. My brother & the kids took out water & 'cat' food for the dog. Afterwards, the kids wanted to bring the dog inside but they were told it was unclean & we didn't know what diseases & bugs he might harbor. I suggested calling animal control but that suggestion was turned down because eventually the dog will be put to sleep. So in the end we decided to wait & see. We'll keep him well fed & he will hopefully keep us safe & sound.
