One of my Facebook friends posted this cartoon and referenced it to "career" choices that one makes and that he may still look around for better jobs then realizes that his job was the best.
Although I agree with that, this brings to mind a play I have seen on Broadway about a decade ago called "The Wrong Mountain".
The play is about Henry, a 60-year-old man, who spent all his life writing poetry for a living but could not get the fame or fortune that he expected to achieve from this caree...
